'Twas The Week Before Christmas on the 20 20!

The Countdown to Christmas is on... and we're doing the Christmas Countdowns!

We're starting the week with one of our favourites... it's the hits that feature foreign lyrics.. from Falco's De Commisar to Nena and 99 Luftballoons!

On Tuesday.. we're heading back to the week when Christmas spirit was lacking at Parliment House - as Paul Keating challenged Prime Minister Bob Hawke for the top job - it's 1991!

On Wednesday - we'll celebrate the week in 1987 when Allan Border collected a couple of Christmas wishes.. claiming the Australian test run scoring record and putting on his first double century!

On Thursday - it's the top 20 from the week when the world stopped to remember legend John Lennon who was killed on December 8 1980... 2 weeks later there was a special tribute! We'll remember that and the top 20 from this week in 1980!

Friday - it's our final 20 20 Retro Countdown for the year - and we'll celebrate with the top 20 Christmas Songs.... the soundtrack to your Christmas! Sing along with our Christmas Countdown!
